A software engineer was attacked and robbed of his gold chain and mobile phone by two bike borne armed men in Mahalakshmi layout on Monday morning.
The victim, Suman was waiting for the office cab near his house when two men on motorcycle approached him and demanded valuables. One of them slashed Suman’s hand with a knife when he tried to resist and snatched the gold chain and mobile phone before speeding away.
Suman was admitted to a nearby hospital and police are investigating to track the muggers.
