Man found hanging, wife suspects foul play

A 28-year-old man was found hanging from a eucalyptus tree at Vaddarapalya in Anekal taluk, coming under Attibele police station limits on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Rajappa, a resident of Vaddarapalya Industrial Area in Anekal. He is survived by his wife and a six-year-old son.

According to the police, Rajappa was in the milk business and had a few cows at home. The incident took place at 4 a.m. on Wednesday and came to light only around at 6 a.m. after locals noticed his body hanging from the tree and informed the police.

Investigations revealed that Rajappa left home around 4 a.m. The eucalyptus grove where Rajappa was found hanging belonged to Manchanahalli Sriramappa. The police did not find any suicide note.

Meanwhile, Rajappa’s wife suspected foul play.

The Attibele police have taken up a case of unnatural death and are investigating.
