An employee of a private company was allegedly assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone in K.G. Halli on Wednesday morning.
The victim, identified as Sharath (25), is a resident of Kanaka Nagar and an employee of an IT firm. He was on his way to office when the incident occurred. As the victim reached Veeranappa Layout, two men confronted Sharath and demanded valuables. The duo beat up Sharath when he tried to resist and managed to escape with the mobile phone and wallet.
Sharath immediately approached K.G. Halli police station and lodged a complaint with the police.
