Man arrested for selling duplicate paint

The South Division police have arrested a 39-year-old for selling duplicate paint with the label of a reputed brand.

Based on a tip-off a team of police from Horamavu raided SN Coating Company in JP Nagar 8th main and arrested the shop owner, Raju.

The police have recovered sub-standard paint, stored in boxes with a label of reputed brand. The total worth of seized products is estimated to be Rs. 25 lakh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rohini Sepat said.
