It was a testing time for thousands of class 12 and 10 students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), who appeared for their board examinations on Monday.
The anxious moments were shared by students and some parents, who waited throughout the three-hour duration for their children to complete their English paper.
Several class 12 students said that the paper was lengthy. Sriram Srinivasan, class 12 student of National Public School Koramangala said, “Comprehension was the lengthiest and the Literature section too was elaborate.”
Another class 12 student Shreya Mittal said that the examinations began on an easy note Several students complained that they were not able to complete their paper on time. The class 12 examinations, which began on Monday, will end on April 20.
The class 10 examinations began on Monday, and with optional subjects for regular students, and the examinations for core subjects will begin on Tuesday with Science. It will end on March 26. Around 1.23 lakh class 10 students and 48,000 class 12 students will appear for the examinations conducted by the CBSE from Chennai region, which consists of six States including Karnataka and one Union Territory.
