Last call was from batch mate

March 19, 2015 12:32 pm | Updated 12:32 pm IST - Bengaluru:

Police investigating the mysterious death of D.K. Ravi have learnt that the last person he spoke to, around 11.22 a.m., was a woman IAS officer who was his batch mate. They learnt this after examining his Call Detail Records.

Police are counting on this call to throw light on the possible reason for his extreme step. So far, they have questioned the driver and the staff in Mr. Ravi’s office. They are also analysing the contents of his laptop.

But, a senior police officer said, the last phone call he received could be vital to the investigation.
