Lab technician dies after being hit by KSRTC bus

A 28-year-old lab technician was killed on the spot when a speeding Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus knocked down the bicycle he was riding near Jalahalli cross on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath, (28), a resident of Dasarahalli and working in a private hospital in the city .

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 6.15 a.m. when Manjunath was on his way to work. The bus coming to the city from Gadag knocked down the bicycle, killing him on the spot.

The Peenya traffic police arrested the driver identified as Shashidhar and seized the bus.
