KSRTC helpline for black-marketing complaints

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), which introduced ‘Any Where Any Time Advanced Reservation’ system, informed the public to complain to KSRTC if private franchise agents create an artificial seat scarcity. Such information/ grievances/ complaints can be sent to awatar@ksrtc.org or call 7760990034-35.

In a release, KSRTC said that under the new system, it had opened ticket counters across the State as well as outside by involving private franchises. However, complaints were received that a few agents are booking tickets in advance under fictitious names, especially during weekends, and selling the tickets at a higher price.

Based on the complaints, the KSRTC Security and Vigilance Department conducted an investigation, the release added.
