KSRTC adds pickup points for special services

The special buses being operated by the KSRTC for Deepavali from October 21 to 24 will start from various pickup points in the city.

This arrangement is made to ease heavy vehicular traffic at KBS.

The pickup points for pre-booking buses include Mysore Road Bus Stand, RPC Lay Out, Vijaynagar TTMC, Yeshwanthpur TTMC, Ganganagar, Malleswaram 18 Cross, Jayanagar 4 Block and Banashakari TTMC. Passengers who book their tickets can board the vehicles from the respective pickup points. However, unreserved bus services will be operated from KBS. The buses towards Chitradurga, Davangere, Hubli, Belgaum, Kollapur routes, Gangavati, Koppal, Kushtagi, Bagalkot and Bijapur routes, Challakere, Bellary, Siruguppa, Sindhnoor, Manvi, Raichur, Bidar, Gulbarga routes, both regular services and unreserved additional buses will be operated from Basaveshwara Bus Stand, Peenya.

Further, both unreserved and additional special services towards Shimoga will start from BMTC Service Road in front of KBS.
