KPCC chief criticises ‘spying’ on Rahul

March 15, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 09:17 am IST - Bengaluru:

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G. Parameshwara on Saturday condemned the action of a Delhi policeman who visited Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s residence to make enquiries about his physical features. He suspected it to be “an act of spying on Mr. Gandhi at the behest of the Central government”.

In a statement here, Dr. Parameshwara said making such enquiries about Mr. Gandhi, who had “proceeded on leave”, tantamounts to his character assassination. The Congress would not tolerate it, he said.
