Kishore Chandra to head CID

H.C. Kishore Chandra, who was DGP and Commandant General, Home Guards, Ex-officio Director Fire Force, will now head the Criminal Investigation Department, Special Units, and Economic Affairs.

He will replace Bipin Gopalakrishna, who retired on Friday.

P. Ravindranath, ADGP Research and Restructuring, has been transferred as ADGP, Police Computer Wing, replacing Bhaskar Rao, who will take charge as ADGP, Directorate Civil Rights Enforcement.

Praveen Sood, ADGP Karnataka State Reserve Police, has been transferred as ADGP Administration. He is replacing Alok Mohan, who will take charge as ADGP Law and Order. T. Suneel Kumar ADGP Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force, has been transferred as ADGP Internal Security Division.
