Tighter security, which had already been put in place for Republic Day, will be continued till January 31, police officials said. A representative of the KIA said in a statement on Tuesday that after assessing the threat and conducting a search of the entire airport, it was termed “non-specific”.

All airlines and partners had been alerted.
