With an aim to provide a digitally-enhanced user platform to all participants in Invest Karnataka, the State government launched the Invest Karnataka 2016 mobile application.

Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Tourism R.V. Deshpande launched the app on Saturday.

The mobile app has provided a fillip to the efforts of the government to mobilise the delegates’ registration for the upcoming Invest Karnataka 2016 scheduled between February 3 and 5 at Bengaluru.

Using a robust IT infrastructure, the app is loaded with useful information for investors looking at Karnataka as an investment opportunity. It gives Karnataka‘s overview with respect to its advantages, sectors for investment, speaker sessions at IK2016 and also keeps the investors updated on latest news about Karnataka.

RatnaPrabha, Additional Chief Secretary, Dept. of Commerce and Industries and other senior officials were also present at the launch.

The app will provide them complete information about the happenings at Invest Karnataka 2016. It will include event details, event schedule and venue details amongst others on their fingertips. The app is available on Android, Windows platform and Apple App Store.

The official website of Invest Karnataka 2016, http://www.investkarnataka.co.in was launched earlier this year and has been visited over 6 lakh times.
