The Department of Public Instruction has filed a cheating case against the international school in Bangalore north, for running certain classes in the school without required permission.
The school has also been booked under section 420 and 418 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 18(5) of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.
The Complaint was filed a day after Commissioner for Public Instruction, Mohammed Mohsin, visited the school where the three-year-old girl was allegedly raped and found that the management is running the high school without required permission. The complaint was booked after Thursday midnight by the Deputy Director of Public Instruction Bangalore North against the school management.
Inquiries revealed that the school was given permission to run classes from standard 1 to 5 in Kannada medium. But they were ran classes from 1 to 7 in the English medium.
Even though the Department of Public Instruction has registered a criminal case against the school in Jalahalli for violation of rules, officials of the education department itself in December 2013 had stated that it had complied with all norms.
