Investigations revealed that he was not only helping her with the fraud but also transferred all the money into an account opened in his name. Earlier, the south division police traced her to New Delhi where she was hiding in December last year soon after the scam broke out. However the police failed to trace the money despite questioning Srikanth. However the case was later handed over to the CCB which finally cracked the case.
