Ilavarasi to complete her statement recording by tomorrow in DPA case

Ilavarasi, the fourth accused in the disproportionate asset case filed against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will complete the recording of her statement under section 313 CrPC before the Special Court in Bangalore by Wednesday.

Ms. Ilavarasi answered 360 questions framed by the court on Tuesday taking the total number of questions answered since Monday to 571.

She has over 100 more questions and will complete recording of her statement by Wednesday.

Special Court judge M S Balakrishna after taking on record the answers given by Ms. Ilavarasi, adjourned to tomorrow further recording of her statement.

Ms. Jayalalithaa, her close aide Sasikala and V N Sudhakaran have already completed recording of their statements.
