The results of class 10 (ICSE) and class 12 (ISC) examinations will be announced on May 6.
This year the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is announcing the results two weeks earlier compared to previous years as it has adopted the Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) technology.
Using the new technology, evaluators enter scores for every question in a grid on the answer script using a LICR pen in a designated spot. The marks entered on the answer script are later displayed on a tab and verified by the evaluators, which then go straight to the CISCE server, thus taking significantly less time to compile the results.
A press release issued by the council stated that students can access the results at 3 p.m. on May 6 on the council’s websitewww.cisce.organd also receive it via SMS. A class 10 student will have to type ICSE followed by the unique ID, while grade 12 students must type ISC followed by the unique ID and send it to 09248082883.
