Winners of the national finals will receive Rs. 7 lakh along with the trophy

Celebrating a decade of quizzing, the Tata group organised the south zone finals of the inter-collegiate business quiz, the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz here on Saturday. The winning teams from eight cities in the south zone competed in the fight to make it to the national finals.

Vinay and Mohit Jain from ICAI, Bangalore, and Rithwik and Krishna from TAPMI Manipal emerged victorious, establishing their spots in the national finals to be held in Mumbai. The winners of the national finals will receive a grand prize of Rs. 7 lakh along with the Tata Crucible trophy.

The event was preceded by the Bangalore regional finals with a participation of 86 teams. The Bangalore regional round was the last of eight regional quiz rounds from the south zone. Himadri Banerjee and Vishnu Santhosh from Christ University had emerged runners-up in the Bangalore regional round.

The top two teams from south zone will now prepare to battle against the top two teams from the other three zones at the national finals. The 10 edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz will culminate with the International Finale, where winners and runners-up from the Indian edition of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2014 will compete with those from the U.K. and Singapore editions held earlier this year for the International Champions edition of the quiz.
