Several serving and retired air force officers were among those who turned up at the Methodist Church in Richmond Town on Wednesday to bid adieu to 1971 Indo-Pak war hero Air Commodore (Retd.) Parvez Khokhar, who was murdered at his residence in a gated community off Hosur Road.

They included former chief of the Indian Air Force SP Tyagi. Some retired officers gave crisp salutes while paying their last respects to the war hero.

Following the funeral, the commodore was buried in a cemetery on Hosur Road.

Meanwhile, police officers investigating the murder said that they are yet to get a breakthrough.
