The Bangalore Traffic West Division police have set a massive manhunt for a 28-year- old woman, who is on the run after mowing down a construction worker on Saturday night.
Three others were injured in the accident at Jayanagar.
The police identified the accused as Rajeshwari, who also got injured, but managed to escape. "Her husband and two children were also missing and we suspect that they might have vacated the house overnight to escape arrest", Deputy Commissioner of Police West, Mr. Mahadevaiah said.
"We have checked all hospitals anticipating that she might have got admitted and trying to track her down", he said.
The accused reportedly drove her car in a rash manner rammed into three cars parked on the roadside, besides knocking down four labourers who were returning from work. While one of them died on the spot, the three others were seriously. They have been admitted to a private nursing home.

Irrespective of part traffic police put an big hoarding and cutouts to educate drivers/riders but still it happens need to take stringent action against mad and rash drivers who responsible for killing innocent people. Government need to study on this issue how to control and put an more controls over such drivers to reducing in numbers of kind of incidents. But we should hats off to Bangalore traffic police for creating awareness and educating drivers/riders is amazing and its our duty to follow line discipline and other norms to follow while driving/riding our vehicles.
