A supplier in a hotel was killed in a brawl with two of his colleagues in Devasandra near K.R. Puram in the early hours of Tuesday.

The police said Dore alias Doreswamy (40), native of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, died when his colleagues at Balaji Hotel battered him with bricks and boulders when an argument over sleeping arrangements got out of hand.

“He sustained head injuries and died on the spot, near the entrance of the hotel,” N. Narasimhaiah, Assistant Commissioner of Police (K.R.Puram Sub-Division), told The Hindu.

The suspects are absconding.

An unidentified man who appeared to be around 65 lost his life when a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus knocked him down near Vijayanagar bus stand here on Tuesday.

The Vijayanagar traffic police have registered a case of negligent driving against driver Channappa Madli and seized the bus.

Pillion rider dies

M. Mishra (34), owner of a transport company who was injured in a road accident, died in a private hospital here on Sunday.

The police said he was riding pillion with his friend on a motorcycle which rammed the road divider near Mallya Hospital Saturday night. Mr. Mishra sustained head injuries.
