Honour for teachers

On the occasion of Teachers Day, the Rotary Club of Bangalore is honouring three teachers who attend to children with special needs.

They are Dr. Vaishali Pai, founder and main teacher/trainer of Tamahar, an organisation engaged in training and rehabilitating children with special needs and developmental challenges; Nagaveni N. of the Association of People With Disability, and Sandesh H. R. of EnAble India, a visually-challenged person who has given computer training to over 700 visually-impaired persons. They will be presented awards, which carry a cash prize and a citation, on Monday at Rotary House of Friendship on Lavelle Road at 7 p.m.
