An armed gang hacked a 32-year-old histroy-sheeter to death over a property dispute in K.R. Puram police station limits on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath, a resident of Priyankanagar in K.R. Puram. He used to work as a water tanker driver.

According to the police, Manjunath had purchased a site from one Charan Raj by paying only a partial amount and had constructed a house. When Charan Raj demanded the money, he allegedly threatened him and refused to pay.

Investigations revealed that Charan Raj, along with his brother Sundar Raj and his associates fatally attacked Manjunath outside a hotel at Medahalli.
