Voyager EMR Solutions Private Limited, a Hyderabad firm, on Wednesday announced the launch of its various products, including those that help protect the user from radiation emitted by cellphones.

Talking to reporters here, V.P. Sandlas, former director of DRDO and at present technical adviser for Voyager EMR Solutions, said the products guard users from electromagnetic radiation from electronic gadgets.

A radiation-safe chip, armed with a state-of-the-art technology, can effectively stop incoming radiation from the cellphone by reflecting it. This scientifically designed chip has multiple layers of protection and has been designed to ensure that it does not interfere with the audio signal, but effectively reflects the electromagnetic radiation and stops its ingress into the user's ears and brain, Mr. Sandlas claimed.

The radiation-safe mobile cover and pouch have an anti-radiation film infrangibly that makes it safe from radiation. These covers do not hamper the mobile phone's audio signals and make the handset safer for human body, said company's regional manager Joseph A. The products are priced between Rs. 250 and Rs. 350. The company also has radiation-safe heart guard, films, apparels, and building material, among others. For details, log on to www.voyageremr.in
