The Karnataka Government First Grade Colleges Guest Lecturers Association has planned to lay seige to the Chief Minister’s residence in Bengaluru if the order in connection with new recruitment of guest lecturers was not withdrawn.

“The government should withdraw the order inviting online applications within a week, else hundreds of guest lecturers will lay seige to CM’s residence,” association general secretary Mallikarjun B. Manpade told reporters here on Saturday.

The future of guest lecturers will be in peril if new appointments were made, he said and urged the government to take necessary measures for regularisation of services of those who are reaching the age limit. Kasturi Kannada Vedike functionaries will participate in the agitation, vedike leader Dr. K. Nagaraj announced.

Guest lecturers’ association district president Lakshminarayan participated.
