A 10-year-olg girl, who spilled coconut oil on ground accidentally was beaten to death allegedly by her step-father in Hennur on Wednesday, police said.
The Hennur police are questioning the assailant, Aslam, who works as an auto-driver.
Aslam and Sultana, a garment factory employee, live with their six children, including three daughters of Sultana’s first marriage. On Wednesday, Aslam came home from work when Sultana had gone to garment factory and saw Noorain (10) had dropped coconut oil on the floor accidentally.
Enraged by this, he started kicking and slapping her following which Noorain fell unconcious. The neighbours rushed her to Dr. Ambedkar Hospital where she was declared as brought dead.
