Get-together of army veterans

Veteran army officers had a get-together on Sunday to remember the sacrifices and contribution of their colleagues over the years.

The event was organised by Headquarters Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area at the Rajendra Sinhji Institute in Bangalore. A press release said that the event is part of the ongoing initiative to reach out to all the veterans of the defence forces. The theme for the get-together was ‘We care and remember your sacrifices’.

Lieutenant General Jagbir Singh, General Officer Commanding, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala Area, Major General A.K. Singh, General Officer Commanding, Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area and senior serving officers interacted with veteran officers and assured them of continued organisational support, the release added.
