Eric S. Lander, one of the principal leaders of the Human Genome Project, will be speaking on Friday at the J.N. Tata Auditorium as a part of the Cell Press-TNQ India Distinguished Lectureship Series 2015.

The lecture starts at 4.30 p.m. Mr. Lander was a critical part of the team that mapped the entire human genetic code in 2003.

He was a founding director of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University.

The lectureship series has seen Mr. Lander present his views in Delhi and Chennai.
