Four-year-old succumbs after being scalded

A four-year-old boy died of burns after accidentally spilling a bucket of hot water onto his body in his house in Yelahanka. The incident took place on Friday. He was rushed to Victoria Hospital, where he succumbed on Sunday night.

According to police, Seshadri’s mother had placed a bucket of hot water for her mother’s bath. When she left the bucket unattended for a few minutes, Seshadri tugged at the bucket, said the police.

According to the police, he sustained 70% burns.

The police have registered a case of accidental death.
