Four KSRTC buses gutted

Four buses belonging to the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation were gutted in an accidental fire which broke out at the 6th depot at Satellite Bus Stand on Mysuru road in the wee hours of Thursday.

The fire and emergency service control room received a call at around 2 a.m. Four fire tenders rushed to the spot and put out the blaze. Three buses were completely charred. Another fire broke out at around 5.40 a.m. and another bus was charred, a senior official said. No one was injured.

The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained and we have sought the help of Byatarayanapura police, the official said.
