Foreign students' house burgled in city

The house rented by three Iranian students was burgled near J.P. Nagar Thursday evening. It is believed that a large sum of money was stolen by the thieves. Sahara Farzabi (23), a student of Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), told the police the burglars used a duplicate key to enter the house between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. But the police say the students left without locking the main door.

Another burglary

Thieves broke into a locked house on Hegganahalli Road near Solladapuramma temple here Thursday and stole gold jewellery worth Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 5,300 in cash, house owner Parvathamma Veerabhadrappa said.
