FIRs against Yeddyurappa: BJP workers protest

Accusing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of indulging in vendetta politics with regards to cases being filed against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president B.S. Yeddyurappa, the BJP workers staged a protest near the Mysore Bank Circle in the city on Sunday. Traffic movement was disrupted for sometime as as hundreds of BJP workers members blocked the road.

BJP leader R. Ashok demanded CM’s resignation and accused him of misusing the Anti-Corruption Bureau for his personal gain. The ACB registered FIR within half-an-hour of the complaint, he said.
