Fire breaks out in shoe factory near Nayandahalli Junction

A fire broke out in a shoe factory on Mysore Road here on Sunday afternoon. However, there were no causalities reported.

According to the police, the fire started at 5.40 p.m. at Star Shoe Company near Nayandahalli Junction. Security guards stationed outside noticed the fire and alerted the fire officials.

Initially, four fire tenders were sent to the spot. But six more had to be called. After forcing their way through the window, the Fire and Emergency Services personnel doused the fire by 7 p.m.
