Federal Bank launches Namma Metro Transit cum Debit Card

Federal Bank has launched its Namma Metro Transit cum Debit Card, partnering with Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).

People can travel in Bangalore Metro using the card without waiting for travel tokens and can also enjoy discounts ranging from 15 to 21 per cent on fares.

A daily commuter can recharge for trips from a selected station to another station up to 100 trips and can avail of discounts up to 21 per cent, a bank release said.

Federal Bank enables its customers to recharge their transit cards at bank’s ATM in select stations, through SMS, Federal Bank’s Internet Banking — FedNet and metro stations.

Federal Bank Namma Metro Card is a Visa branded Debit cum Transit card with Rs 75,000 shopping and Rs 75,000 ATM withdrawal limits across the country, it said.
