The chilly evening made way for some light showers on Monday as several parts of the city saw light to medium rainfall.

According to the Meteorology Department, 1.9 mm rainfall was recorded near HAL Airport, while the city witnessed “trace rainfall”.

The rainy spell will continue over the next two days with cloudy skies and one or two spells of rain/thundershowers, according to the forecast.

Temperatures will continue to linger around 27 degree Celsius (maximum) and 19 degree Celsius (minimum).

The northeast monsoon has been weak over the State, and weather has been dry, the officials said.

Minimum temperatures did not change much, and relative humidity on Monday was around 67 per cent.
