An 8-year-old boy was abducted and sodomised by his neighbour in J.J. Nagar on Thursday. The incident came to light when the boy returned home and his mother noticed that he was bleeding.
According to the police, the victim was picked up by his neighbour, identified as Parvez, when he was retuning from school.
On the pretext of buying candies, the accused took the victim to an isolated place and sodomised him.
The mother hurriedly gave the victim first-aid and cleaned him up. The victim’s father, an autorikshaw driver, heard of the incident after he returned home.
The couple went to the J.J. Nagar police station on Friday and filed a complaint. Based on the information, the police arrested Parvez and questioned him to ascertain whether he had committed similar offences earlier.
