Around eight factory workers sustained injuries when a tempo-traveller, ferrying them to work, turned turtle in front of the busy Kanteerava studio on Wednesday.

The victims are employees of Bombay Rayon garment factory and were on their way to work when the accident occurred. Around 15 employees were travelling in the vehicle.

The driver escaped soon after the accident and efforts are on to nab him, said S. Girish, DCP West Traffic. “Rash and negligent driving may have led to the accident, though luckily no casualties have been reported,” he said.
