The city police on Friday seized a drone which was flying in the high-security zone on Palace Grounds where Invest Karnataka 2016, a State-government sponsored investors’ meet, was being held.
The police noticed the drone flying around the area and seized it before bringing it to the notice of Deputy Commissioner of Police ( Central Division), Sandeep Patil, who was supervising the security arrangements. “Inquiries revealed that the drone belonged to the organisers and we asked them not to fly in the area since it was a high-security zone,” he said.
