DRDO names two Directors-General from Bangalore

Bangalore-based senior defence scientists K. Tamilmani and S.S. Sundaram are among seven new Directors-General appointed for the first time for seven clusters of the Defence Research & Development Organisation. Dr. Tamilmani, Distinguished Scientist, who will head the aeronautical systems, is also Chief Controller (R&D aero) and Chief Executive of the military certification agency CEMILAC.

Mr. Sundaram, Distinguished Scientist, is DG-Electronics & Communication Systems. About a dozen of the DRDO’s aero and electronic clusters are in Bangalore.
