The special court, hearing the disproportionate asset case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, today adjourned the case till May 30.

Special judge B M Mallikarjunaiah posted the case to Monday when the defence sought time for arguments, citing unavailability of senior defence counsel.

Earlier, the prosecution filed its objections to the memo filed by the defence seeking recall of a witness in the case.

With the senior defence counsel Navaneetha Krishnan being appointed as the Advocate General of Tamil Nadu, Ms. Jayalalithaa is yet to appoint a counsel in his place.
