A 38-year-old man allegedly slapped his wife over a trivial row in HSR layout, Bangalore on Monday resulted in her death.
Dharmesh, working in the Research Division of Shell company, was arrested by the police. According to the police Dharmesh had married Mahalakshmi (37) in 2005 and the couple had a four-year-old son. They were living in Mantri apartments in Haraloru road in HSR Layout.
Mahalakshmi had recently joined a Montessori school as a teacher. On Monday, Dharmesh's sister had come to visit him. Mahalakshmi, police said, got irritated and had a fight with Dharmesh over his sister coming home without informing her.
During the altercation, Dharmesh in a fit of rage, slapped her hard following which Mahalakshmi collapsed.
Dharmesh with the help of neighbours rushed her to a near-by hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The HSR Layout police rushed to the spot and took Dharmesh into custody. A case has been registered against him and further investigations are on.

the bold DIL replied to the son --you touch me and see who will be here. the son kept quiet.what if the MIL's daughter was a victim of spanking. what would have been the reaction of the senior lady.high time our thinking changes.
