The Ist Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of Mohammed Nalapad Haris, who has been accused of brutally assaulting Vidvat L. in February, to April 4. The custody of six of his associates, who were also arrested, has been extended.
All the seven accused were produced through video conference from Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Both the sessions court and High Court had rejected the bail petition of Nalapad, and now he is preparing to appeal in the Supreme Court. The next hearing in the magistrate court is scheduled for April 4.
