Couple jump before train, commit suicide

An unidentified young couple committed suicide by jumping in front of the running train near silk farm junction on Sarjapura Road on Monday morning.

Passers-by noticed the mutilated bodies of the couple on the track and informed the police.

The couple, who are between 25 to 30 years, did not have any phone or any identity cards to ascertain their identity , the police said.

The Byappanahalli police have taken up a case and are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death.
