The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has finally announced the counselling and seat allotment schedule for postgraduate medical and dental seats, just days ahead of the April 5 deadline set for the first round of admissions by the Supreme Court. It is applicable only to non in-service candidates.
A late evening release on Wednesday from the KEA announced the cramped schedule of counselling, which began with the option entry from Wednesday night itself. The release added that the mock allotment of results will be made by April 4, with candidates getting the provision to make changes to options on the same day until the next afternoon. The real allotment of seats will be made on April 5 evening while the last date to report to colleges is April 8.
