It has come to light that a convict recently beat up a doctor inside the Bengaluru Central Prison in Parappana Agrahara after the doctor refused to certify him as sick.
The incident occurred on June 30 when Nagaraj, a rowdy with multiple cases pending against him, complained of sickness and went to the doctor. The doctor is said to have scolded him for going to him repeatedly. Subsequently, Nagaraj assaulted him. Based on the complaint, the Parappana Agrahara police have taken up a case.
