Construction worker falls to death

A construction worker, said to be in his 20s, lost his balance and fell to his death from the fourth floor of an apartment building under construction on Outer Ring Road in HAL police limits here on Saturday. The dead, Shyama, was a native of West Bengal. Though he was rushed to a hospital, he was declared brought dead. HAL Police arrested the site engineer and supervisor.

Ends life

A 21-year-old woman, who was recently married, committed suicide by hanging herself to death at her residence in Mylanahalli village in the international airport police station limits here on Sunday morning.

The dead, Shailaja, who married Narendra, a farmer, about a year ago, was found by her husband in the cattle-shed on the premisesof their house.

Her father, Muniraju, also a farmer, has stated that the couple had had no differences. He, however, said his daughter had been complaining of stomach ache and on Saturday night too had complained of pain.

Hangs himself to death

A 24-year-old man, Murali, ended his life by hanging himself to death at his uncle’s house in Kanaka Nagar in Kumaraswamy Layout here on Saturday night.

Murali, a native of Kolar, who was living with his uncle, was employed with a private water purifier company at Kadirenahalli Cross. The incident came to light on Sunday morning. Kumaraswamy Layout Police have registered a case.
