A police constable was badly injured when a car mowed him down while escaping from being caught in Subramanyapura Nagar on Wednesday. The constable, Sridhar Murthy, was rushed to M.S. Ramaiah Hospital.
The constable, attached to R.T. Nagar police station, noticed a suspect identified as Praveen Kumar and tried to catch him. Praveen mowed him down and escaped before passers-by rushed to the constable’s help.
A massive manhunt has been launched to nab Praveen Kumar.
