In the midst of the PU results confusion, the State government on Friday transferred Commissioner for Public Instruction Mohammad Mohsin and posted him as Managing Director of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC).
Primary and Secondary Education Minister Kimmane Ratnakar said the transfer was not related to the PU fiasco.
Four other officials, including an IFS official, have also been transferred. Following is the list of officials with their new post: Jawaid Akhtar – Managing Director, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd.; Subodh Yadav – Managing Director, Karnataka Public Lands Corporation Ltd.; Panduranga Bommaiah Naik – Commissioner for Agriculture, and S. Shekar – Commissioner, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
