Christ University opened its new campus on Bannerghatta Road on Wednesday.

The campus was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Thomas Aykara CMI, the Rector and Chancellor. Rev. Monsignor Guy-Real Tivierge, Secretary General, International Federation of Catholic Universities; Rev. Fr. Dr. Sebastian Thekkedath CMI, former principal of Christ College; and several academicians from across the country attended the event.

A press release from the university stated that the new campus will offer courses in Business Administration and Social Sciences. It has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,200, a residence hall and a cafeteria besides other academic facilities.
