Chit fund employee robbed of cash in Bangalore

A 30-year-old chit fund employee was robbed by two en while he was returning to office with cash in Mahadevapura here on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Aravi, a resident of Mahadevapura. He had collected over Rs. 1.5 lakh in cash from investors in and around Mahadevapura.

Aravi, who was on his motorcycle, had stopped on the roadside when two men confronted him and threw chilli powder on his face before snatching the bag. They fled the scene.

Aravi raised an alarm but the two managed to speed away before passers-by could reach to his help.

Aravi filed a complaint with Mahadevapura police.
